I put a pause on the Butty development doing 2018 and 2019 due to few life events! I got married. I got promoted in day job. Also, I became a father for the 1st time. I took most of the time working and look after my new born son with my wife.
Then the pandemic hits, I was lucky that I can work from home. Since it happens all in a sudden, the company needs lots of time to prepare how me and my fellow co-workers who to work from home. Also, due to a term in my contract, I still get paid although I have not much work to do for about 6 months. When the day job work load started to pick up, I was happy that I would be on parental leave for 9 months since we were expecting twin boys!
After changing so many diapers for all three boys in those years, I wiped my boys’ butt at least 20 times per day. It reminded me of “Butty”. The inspirations of Butty character & personalities came from my 3 cute baby boys on top on my “Arse”-speaking friend with British accent. With the booming of NFTs around 2021, I tried to join the band-wagon to create a collection of Butty. I named the collection “Butty & Associates ”. I introduced Butty as the main character, families and friends from But-Clan and possible beings from ASS-Clan. I created a bunch of butties JPEG and listed them on OpenSea. I hope someone will buy 1 or 2 that can help to me to buy diapers and baby formula for my babies. I did not have much clues about NFT did at that time. Although nobody bought any of the Butty NFT, I enjoyed created lots of characters, but-Clan, their homes and lands and the Twin-Bottom universe. I love creating. I am giving life to a new lovely species who loves the Earth culture. I also learned how to use unicorn platform to create from the NFT landing page into the “wiki” style of Butty and Associates website. I am and will share the adventures of Butty and spread love.
